The ARIES ActionTrac™ Powered Running Boards feature an innovative, patented step-within-a-step™ design, offering easier access, especially on large vehicles. The main housing has an integrated, non-skid stepping surface along the top edge, and when the door opens, a 3" wide power step automatically deploys 8" from the 4" wide top step, offering up to 15" from the doorsill (application-dependent). The running boards are constructed with extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, making them lightweight, non-corrosive, and durable, finished with a carbide black powder coat for enhanced corrosion resistance. They feature an integrated control module that detects obstructions and eliminates pinch hazards, a single rotary motor for quiet operation, and integrated LED lights for added visibility. The simple-to-install system uses no-splice wiring, and the running boards are assembled in the USA. Mounting brackets are sold separately.
