ARIES ActionTrac™ boards feature a patented step-within-a-step™ design for easier access, especially on large vehicles. The 3" powered step automatically drops 8" when the door opens, up to 15" below the doorsill, while a 4" top step provides convenient access to the vehicle's roof. The housing shields the retractable step, pivot points, and electronics from the elements. The contoured design helps protect rocker panels from road debris and door dings. It features a simple-2-install system with no-splice wiring (brackets not included). The running boards are made of powder-coated 6061-T6 aluminum, which is durable, lightweight, and non-corrosive. An integrated control module detects obstructions, eliminating pinch hazards. It uses a single, rotary motor for fast, quiet, maintenance-free operation. Integrated LED lights activate on deployment for added visibility and safety. The product is rated for a 650 lbs. static weight capacity (limited to mounting structure) and comes with a limited lifetime warranty (five-year finish and three-year parts). It is assembled in the USA.
