Camshaft sprocket actuators (Also known as variable valve timing sprockets) adjust the timing of the motor to ensure that you get the engine power you need when you need it. The sprocket actuator dials the timing back when you don't require the additional power, restoring fuel economy and maintaining engine efficiency.
