The Dexter Marine Model 660 82401 Trailer Brake Actuator is designed for use with drum brakes on trailers with a 3-inch wide tongue and a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of up to 6600 pounds. It features a 2-inch ball coupler with a Drop N’ Go Auto Latch Coupler system that allows for easy auto-latching onto the hitch ball with minimal weight. The solenoid plumbing is built into the master cylinder, simplifying servicing by eliminating the need to remove the entire solenoid, detach brake hoses, or detach the actuator cover and unit from the trailer tongue. The actuator is constructed from steel and comes with a polished, silver finish. Key features include a cast steel ball clamp, grease fittings on the roller pin, a safety pin that locks the ball clamp (not just the latch handle), and a coiled, PVC-coated E-Stop cable.
