Upgrade your Ford 6.7L Powerstroke performance engine build with the CP-Carrillo PS67HD6969H 6.7L Powerstroke Pro-H Connecting Rods With H-11 Bolts. Proprietary Carrilloy Steel: CP-Carrillo uses a proprietary steel to manufacture its connecting rods, named Carrilloy. It is a chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy which meets all VAR (vacuum arc re-melt ASTM standards). The heat treatment is conducted via a mar-aged operation, resulting in UTS of 195,000 with a yield of 182,000 while maintaining the critical elements of low notch-sensitivity and ductility. Precision Manufacturing Process: Connecting rods from CP-Carrillo are crafted from an oversized forging resulting in the proper grainflow as well as the surface removal of any potential inclusions or surface conversions generated by the forging process. Every CNC machine at CP-Carrillo is equipped with probing to accurately validate dimensional integrity. Each part is magnafluxed at least twice during the production process. Each piece is Rockwell tested to validate the heat treat procedure. A final shot peen operation completes the part. H11 Bolts: Included with these connecting rods are WMC-H7 (H11) bolts. The H-11 Bolts feature an Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) of 220KSI and are good for about 15-18 torque cycles. These high strength connecting rod fasteners are designed for secure, repeatable clamping capable of handling elevated performance conditions. All bolts feature asymmetrical threads, where each thread is slightly different from the previous one, providing evenly distributed thread engagement. This design enhances clamp load and extends the fastener's fatigue life. For added durability, a Mahle steel bushing is included, with Cap Relief to assist in oil evacuation for engines running at higher loads and RPM's.
