Description

The 3M 06396 is an automotive adhesion promoter designed to enhance the bond of 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes and Acrylic Plus Tapes. It is formulated for use on most low-surface-energy (LSE) plastic materials commonly found in automotive exterior trim.

This fast-drying liquid primer comes in convenient, notched sponge applicator packets for efficient use. Each packet covers up to 150 sq. in. and dries in as little as 30 seconds, ensuring robust attachment of trim and injection-molded body side moldings. It is effective on LSE plastics, thermoplastic olefin (TPO), p-phenylene oxide (PPO), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) materials.
