The 3M Adhesive Remover 38081 is a solvent-based solution specifically formulated to ease the removal of reactive-type adhesives. These are adhesives that require a hardener or catalyst to activate and bond, such as epoxies, urethanes, and silicones. This versatile remover features a blend of non-abrasive solvents that quickly dissolve adhesive residue without damaging most cured automotive paint surfaces. It is also safe for use on vinyl and glass. The wipe-on, wipe-off formula is ready to use, requiring no mixing for convenient application. Ideal for automotive applications, it can tackle tough residues like tar, attachment tape, bumper sticker adhesive, and wax. It is also effective for removing surface contaminants such as masking tape and other adhesive residue from bare or primed metal during auto body repair. Instructions for removing bumper stickers are included. This product is intended for industrial/occupational use only and is not for consumer sale or use.
