Its adjustable 3-jaw design offers broad compatibility, fitting canister oil filters with diameters ranging from 2.75 inches to 5.25 inches. This allows for a secure grip on a wide variety of oil filters. The wrench incorporates adjustable serrated legs that firmly grip the oil filter, ensuring a reliable connection during removal. For added convenience and stability, a magnetic base helps to position and hold the wrench securely in place while you work. This feature is particularly useful for one-handed operation or in tight engine bays.
