Adjustable Ackermann Steering Kit

The FDF Raceshop Mild Mantis Angle Kit is an original design aimed at maximizing steering angle for performance applications. This kit provides a significant increase in steering geometry, offering up to 65 degrees of angle. It features an adjustable Ackermann system, allowing for fine-tuning of up to 4 degrees per side, with specific settings for lead and trail wheels at full lock. Constructed from durable, high-strength alloy steel and aluminum, the Mild Mantis kit utilizes premium components. It includes chromoly heim joints and spherical bearings with self-lubricating nylon races for smooth operation and longevity. Key specifications include an optimized camber of -5.5 degrees to counteract caster at full lock, and an adjustable track width range of 25mm-50mm wider per side for improved stability and clearance. The design also allows for a long suspension travel range, ensuring full lock-to-lock capability throughout the suspension's movement. Note that a subframe from a 2003 Nissan 350Z or G35 may require replacement as it can be slightly different. Fabrication for this kit requires 2–3 weeks before shipping.
