Engineered with an EZ-Dial Adjuster, these gears provide a +/- 10-degree adjustment range, allowing users to fine-tune cam timing and tailor the power curve to their specific needs. This makes them an essential component for performance engines utilizing aftermarket camshafts or those with milled cylinder heads or blocks. Installation is simplified by the EZ-Dial 6mm hex key adjuster and an amplified timing scale, which enable smooth, precise adjustments without the frustration of traditional methods. Proper installation is crucial; it is recommended to replace woodruff keys if necessary and to NEVER use an impact gun. Torque specifications for the cam gear bolt vary depending on whether OEM or aftermarket camshafts are used, and a small drop of removable thread locker like blue Loctite is advised. Locking bolts should be tightened to 18 ft-lbs with thread locker.
