The design allows for up to +/- 6 degrees of camshaft adjustment, enabling fine-tuning of valve timing to optimize engine performance. Designed for Ford Modular 2-Valve and 4-Valve SOHC/DOHC engines, this cam gear set installs like the original factory gears and works with OE components. It is specifically engineered for 4.6L and 5.4L displacements. However, this set is not for use with 3-valve applications.
