Overview

This kit features adjustable radius-style control arms, utilizing rubber bushings at one end and rebuildable Flex Joints at the other for superior flex. Constructed from 2" diameter D.O.M. tubing, these arms are built to withstand rugged terrain.

The kit includes new 1/4" thick steel brackets that sandwich the frame for a secure fit, and replaces the factory crossmember with a 1/4" thick steel "skinny up" belly pan for transfer case protection. The complete kit comes with a durable black powder-coated finish.

The Rusty's Off-Road TJ Wrangler Long Arm Upgrade Kit provides a significant enhancement in suspension articulation, enabling your vehicle to traverse challenging off-road obstacles. The core of the system consists of adjustable radius-style control arms. These arms incorporate Rusty's rubber control arm bushings on one end to minimize noise and vibrations transmitted to the frame, while the other end features rebuildable Flex Joints for maximum articulation and flex. The arms are constructed from robust 2" diameter D.O.M. tubing, ensuring durability against impacts with rocks and ledges. Installation involves bolting on new 1/4" thick steel brackets that are laser-cut and CNC formed for a precise fit. The kit also replaces the factory crossmember with Rusty's 1/4" thick steel "skinny up" belly pan, which offers complete protection for the transfer case and ties the long arm mounting points together into a single, solid assembly. The entire kit is finished with a durable black powder coat. Installation requires the factory control arm hangers to be cut off and removed, and a small amount of drilling will be necessary. Modifications to the exhaust system, including the tailpipe, may be required, especially if equipped with a stock or larger aftermarket muffler. The Standard Clearance Long Arms are compatible with 3" and taller lifts, while the High Clearance Long Arms require a minimum of 5" of lift.
