By reducing body roll and increasing transition speed, these bars allow for a more controlled and responsive driving experience. Constructed from hot-formed 4140 CrMo spring steel, these sway bars are stronger than typical cold-formed bars. The front bar features a 1.125-inch diameter with a 0.188-inch wall thickness, and the rear bar is a solid 0.625-inch diameter. Both bars offer three adjustment holes for precise tuning. The kit includes polyurethane bushings, brackets, grease, and stoppers for the front bar to prevent lateral sliding. Installation of the front sway bar can be challenging on ND Miatas, though Flyin' Miata provides helpful installation videos. Some users have noted that while the rear bar installation is straightforward, the front requires significant effort. It is recommended to use the provided reinforcement brackets, especially under aggressive driving conditions with soft springs or sticky tires, as a preventative measure against potential mounting bracket failure. The front sway bar maintains the shape of the ND1 and ND2 sway bars, but Flyin' Miata confirms that both the front and rear sway bars fit perfectly on all ND models, including the ND3.
