The Cobb Front Roll Center and Bump Steer Kit addresses common suspension geometry issues that arise when a vehicle is lowered. When a car is lowered, the front roll center drops, leading to increased body roll, and the bump steer phenomenon becomes more pronounced, causing the steering to feel unpredictable over bumps and during cornering. Featuring extended ball joint studs, this kit raises the outer pivot point of the front suspension, restoring the roll center closer to its factory geometry for a lowered ride height. Additionally, the adjustable tie rod ends allow for precise correction of bump steer by modifying the effective length and angle of the tie rod at the wheel. This dual-action design ensures that both roll center and bump steer are corrected simultaneously. The Cobb Front Roll Center and Bump Steer Kit is specifically designed for vehicles that have been lowered by 1 to 1.5 inches, whether through lowering springs or coilovers. Installation requires a subsequent four-wheel alignment to ensure optimal setting of front toe, camber, and caster at the corrected geometry. All necessary hardware is included for a complete installation.
