Description

The TB Performance adjustable front strut bar is a bolt-on suspension upgrade designed to improve the handling, traction, and steering response of 8V and 8Y Audi A3 and S3 vehicles. Constructed from 1 1/4-inch 1045 DOM steel, this bar offers significantly higher rigidity than the weak, stamped factory component. It features 3/16-inch plate steel mounting brackets and uses Steinjager 4130 Chromoly Heim joints to allow for precise, fully adjustable preload and height settings. Each unit is hand-welded using both MIG and TIG processes and finished in a durable high-gloss black powder coat for long-lasting protection. Installation requires minor trimming of the metal cowl on the passenger side near the hood prop. When installing, ensure the main bar is only snugged down rather than over-tightened to maintain proper tension. Hardware included consists of 5/8-inch fasteners to ensure robust load-bearing capabilities.
