The Hardrace HR-8781 is a 30mm front sway bar designed to enhance vehicle dynamics by reducing body roll and correcting understeer or oversteer. This direct replacement part features a hollow, heat-treated construction and an adjustable design with two holes, allowing for fine-tuning of handling characteristics. The sway bar's primary function is to tie lower suspension links together, ensuring the car remains level during cornering, which Hardrace states provides better control, improved grip, and increased stability at high speeds. The unit is a 7-piece set and is specifically designed for AWD applications. Vehicle compatibility includes a range of VAG group models: Audi A3 MK3 (2013-2020) and MK4 (2020-Present), S3/RS3 MK3 (2013-2020) and MK4 (2020-Present); Volkswagen Passat B8 (2015-Present), Tiguan 2nd Gen (2016-Present), Golf R MK7 (2014-2020) and MK8 (2021-Present), Arteon (2017-Present), and T-Roc (2017-Present); and Skoda Superb 3rd Gen (2016-Present) and Kodiaq (2017-Present). Note: This sway bar is for AWD use only. Replacement stabilizer bushings and brackets for the HR-8781 are available separately as a 6-piece set. Hardrace offers a lifetime warranty on their sway bars.
