The Eimkeith Panhard Bar Correction Kit (PCK) is a crucial component for lifted 4th and 5th Gen Toyota 4Runners, designed to address the geometric changes that occur after suspension modification. When a 4Runner is lifted, the Panhard bar, which ensures the rear axle remains centered laterally, shifts from its intended horizontal position to a more vertical one. This misalignment compromises its function, allowing excessive left-to-right movement of the axle. This excessive movement can lead to serious issues, including binding and bending of the rear axle components and damage to the U-joints, potentially resulting in costly repairs not covered by warranty. The Eimkeith PCK is a robust solution that utilizes a bracket, constructed from .120” thick steel to match factory specifications, which welds onto the Panhard bar mounting location. It offers multiple mounting holes to accommodate lifts ranging from 2 to 4.5 inches, allowing for adjustment based on the specific lift height. Unlike some other solutions, this kit does not require replacing the factory Panhard bar. The non-welded design also provides flexibility, allowing for adjustments if a different lift height is desired in the future or even a return to stock height. The kit includes the necessary nut for securing the bolt. Installation requires welding knowledge and proper preparation of mounting surfaces for optimal weld integrity.
