Adjustable Panhard Rod

The IPD adjustable panhard rod is engineered for Volvo 700/900-series vehicles, providing a simple upgrade to improve rear axle alignment and overall handling. This rod is constructed from powder-coated chromoly steel tubing and features heavy-duty polyurethane bushings for durability and enhanced performance during hard cornering. When a Volvo is raised or lowered, the stock panhard rod can cause the rear axle to shift, leading to alignment issues such as increased tire wear, bushing wear, and uneven handling. The IPD adjustable panhard rod allows you to precisely re-center the rear axle, typically in about 20 minutes using basic tools. The upgraded polyurethane bushings offer less deflection, ensuring the rear axle remains more centered and stable, especially through turns.
