The Dobinsons Spring & Suspension Front Heavy Duty Adjustable Panhard Rod (PR59-1420) is engineered to properly set axle alignment and ensure correct vehicle tracking, especially after suspension lifts. This adjustable panhard rod is designed to accommodate lift heights ranging from 3 to 6 inches, allowing for precise alignment correction. The rubber bushings are chosen for their flexibility, providing maximum articulation for off-road performance. This unit is adjustable off-vehicle, meaning it cannot be set while fully installed. Installation requires that castor correction is performed, and adjustable panhard rods are highly recommended for lifted vehicles. For customers seeking to maximize off-road capability, extended sway bar links and extended brake lines are also advised. Depending on the specific application, extending the vehicle's bump stops and performing driveshaft modifications may be necessary. For suspension lift kits exceeding 90mm (3.5 inches), a comprehensive suite of alignment parts, including castor correction, adjustable panhard rods, sway bar extensions, extended bump stops, extended brake lines, gearbox spacing, driveshaft modification, and adjustable rear trailing arms, are required. Other driveline, suspension, and steering modifications may also be needed. This product is intended for off-road use only.
