Adjustable Short Shifter

The K-Tuned B/D Series Short Shifter (KTD-BD2-SF3) is an updated shifter designed to improve the driving experience for Honda and Acura vehicles with B-Series and D-Series engines. This shifter replaces the original plastic components with more robust materials. The ball housing now utilizes a Delrin bushing, known for its strength, chemical resistance, and low friction, ensuring smooth operation over time. This Delrin bushing is further protected by a TPV bushing to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. The stamped steel base plate has been replaced with a thicker 0.35" aluminum plate, offering increased rigidity, durability, and rust resistance compared to the original component. The redesigned lower shaft is crafted from black anodized 6061 aluminum, featuring a notched section for easy, in-car adjustment of the shift throw. A machined sight hole and a numbered internal shaft allow for precise adjustment. The shifter assembly also includes an additional threaded hole to enhance rigidity and triangulation. All K-Tuned B/D Series Shifters are independently adjustable for both height and throw, allowing drivers to customize their preferred shift feel. This revised design aims to provide a tighter, more precise shifting experience compared to stock shifters.
