Adjustable Short Shifter Assembly

This kit is designed to work with Z3, Z7, and 04-08 TSX/Accord transmissions, offering a universal setup with some cable adjustments. Constructed primarily from billet aluminum, the shifter assembly ensures maximum strength and minimizes flex. The cage is made from Delrin for smooth shifting action, and critical pivot points utilize Delrin for long-term smooth operation. Stainless steel is incorporated at cable attachment points and within the center shifter rod assembly for enhanced durability. The shifter's taller build positions the shift knob closer to the steering wheel, improving driver ergonomics. A key feature of this race shifter is its independent adjustability for both throw and gate spacing, along with adjustable height and offset for the shift knob placement. This allows for fine-tuning the shifting feel to driver preference, achieving a short throw front-to-back and a wide gate side-to-side, with a comfortable shift knob position. Originally developed from the 10th Gen Shifter for broader application, this universal kit includes replacement feet designed to allow the shifter to mount flat on various exhaust tunnels, though drilling for mounting hardware is required. The top plate is also modified to accommodate the wider movement range found in transmissions like the 8th gen models. A rebuild service is available for shifters from 2023 onwards for $100 plus shipping, intended to maintain optimal performance over time.
