The UMI Performance adjustable upper control arm is designed for 2005-2010 Ford Mustangs. It features on-car adjustability for pinion angle changes and suspension correction, especially for lowered vehicles. This control arm replaces the factory stamped unit to reduce wheel hop and increase traction.

The UMI Performance adjustable upper control arm is a direct replacement for the stock component on 2005-2010 Ford Mustangs. Its adjustable design allows for quick and easy on-car adjustments to pinion angle, which is crucial for suspension setup and correction, particularly in lowered vehicles. The control arm utilizes a 14mm bolt hole size and a 16mm chassis mount hole size. To address the slop and potential noise from this difference, UMI Performance offers an optional Part #1058 spacer kit. This kit steps down the chassis mount hole from 16mm to 14mm, ensuring a tighter fit, eliminating noise and clunks caused by bolt shift during acceleration and braking. The spacer kit is designed to work with OEM upper control arm mounts and aftermarket mounts that use a 16mm hole. Installation of adjustable control arms may require professional alignment services to ensure optimal performance and handling characteristics.
