MIA's Description

The Southwire 40070 is an 18 AWG, 8-conductor, stranded bare copper wire designed for low-voltage applications. It features a Low Smoke Polyvinyl Chloride (LS-PVC) insulation and jacket, with an aluminum foil shield and a tinned drain wire for signal integrity.

This cable is rated for 300V and is suitable for use in Remote Control, Signaling, and Power-Limited circuits per NEC Article 725. It is also CMP (Plenum) and CL3P/FPLP rated. The white LS-PVC jacket includes a rip cord for easier jacket removal.
