Overview

The DieselSite Adrenaline HPOP is a performance high-pressure oil pump designed for the 1996-2003 7.3L Powerstroke. This direct-fit upgrade increases oil flow and withstands pressure loss better than the factory pump. It can supply larger injectors and support up to 275cc injectors or 550hp.
Show original supplier description
The DieselSite Adrenaline HPOP is a performance drop-in upgrade for the 1996-2003 7.3L Powerstroke engine. It is capable of supplying much larger injectors, supporting setups up to 275cc injectors or 550hp, and is also an excellent OEM replacement option for stock trucks. The Adrenaline HPOP is crucial for producing optimal power and can improve fuel mileage by making the entire fuel system more efficient. It is a true bolt-on performance pump that requires no other modifications for installation and works well with existing performance upgrades or to future-proof an unmodified truck by ensuring the oil system maintains pressure over time. The pump features stainless steel threads and comes with a new mounting gasket. For engines manufactured in 1996-2003 (Serial Number 201681 and after), the anti-drainback feature is not needed. However, 1994-1995 engines (Serial Number 201680 and before) will require the anti-drainback feature. High-pressure oil is essential for the proper atomization of fuel by the injectors, requiring a minimum of 2600 psi for correct firing. Stock HPOPs can experience pressure drops with larger injectors. The Adrenaline HPOP aims to maintain optimal operating pressure between 2800-3000 psi under wide-open throttle for superior fuel atomization. While stock injectors will see benefits, larger injectors will realize more significant power gains. Diesel Site backs the Adrenaline HPOP with a 24-month unlimited warranty.
