Description

This kit is designed to convert the steering system in older Jeep vehicles (prior to 1971) to a Saginaw manual steering box. It addresses issues of excessive play and backlash common in the original steering setup, providing better control. The kit does *not* include the Saginaw steering box itself, nor the steering pump and hoses for power applications. It uses a Flaming River or Borgeson yoke design and requires welding for installation of the steering box mounting plate, frame enclosures, and firewall mounting plate.
