Overview

This 4-7/8” thick bellhousing adapter kit facilitates swapping a Chevy V8 engine into Toyota Land Cruiser models FJ40, FJ45, FJ55, FJ60, and FJ62 equipped with 4 or 5-speed manual transmissions. It mounts directly to the engine side of the original Land Cruiser bellhousing, maintaining the stock drivetrain location, clutch linkage, and slave cylinder. The kit includes a new release bearing, a 4.8" long flywheel housing with a GM bolt pattern (front) and Toyota 1F, 2F, 3F bolt pattern (rear), an input extension shaft (Toyota internal spline/pilot to GM external spline/pilot), a sealed ball bearing in an adapter ring for crankshaft support, GM weld-in engine mounts, a bell housing mount, throw-out bearing, and pilot bearing. It's designed to ensure firewall clearance without modifying the transmission or driveshaft. Conversion clutch pressure plate & disc are sold separately.
