Description

This adapter (712516) is designed for Jeep vehicles equipped with T18 transmissions that are being adapted to a Chevy engine setup. It is specifically for applications with longer input shafts (O.A.L. of 15-3/4", 15-7/8", 16", and 16-3/4"). Installation requires modification of the existing aluminum spacer located between the transmission and the Jeep bellhousing. The adapter eliminates the need to change the stock input shaft and may also eliminate the need for driveshaft modifications.
