The BRAILLE B3121C Lightweight Advanced AGM Racing Battery is engineered for performance enthusiasts seeking significant weight reduction without compromising power. Weighing only 21 lbs, it offers a high-performance upgrade from traditional lead-acid batteries, delivering up to 2/3 weight reduction for equivalent cranking performance. This battery provides superior starting capabilities with a high cranking amp output per kg, boasting 1380 pulse cranking amps (PCA) and 1240 10-second pulse cranking amps (PDC). It recharges up to twice as fast as traditional lead-acid batteries and can be used in "Total Loss" applications where an alternator is not present. The B3121C is also engineered to withstand high shock and vibration environments. Key specifications include a 12V voltage, 31.0 Ah capacity (372 Wh), and a right-side positive polarity with steel terminal blocks and M6 bolts. It operates within a charging temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and discharge/storage temperatures from -40°C to +60°C. Recharge voltage is between 14.4V – 14.6V, with a maintenance charge voltage of 13.8V. Important note: This battery requires a custom mounting solution as its significantly smaller size and weight compared to a stock battery mean it will not be held in place by the original battery mount.
