Advanced Clutch Kit

The ACT Advanced Clutch Kit is engineered to provide enhanced performance and durability for the 1995-2002 Kia Sportage. This kit features a high copper content friction material, which helps to pull heat away from the surface, leading to better heat tolerance and faster recovery from overheating. The pressure plate incorporates an induction-hardened release bearing contact area to reduce wear and ensure smooth operation. Additionally, ACT's exclusive diaphragm design increases clamp load without adverse effects, and all castings are CNC machined for consistency and precision. ACT offers various pressure plate designs, including Sport, Heavy Duty, Xtreme, and Maxx Xtreme, each providing different levels of clamp load increase and pedal feel. Race Discs are also available for quicker shifting and higher torque capacity. Most ACT pressure plates and discs are certified to meet SFI Specification 1.1, making them legal for competition in organizations requiring SFI certification.
