The ECUMaster Wireless Racing Panel Kit provides a flexible solution for building a personalized wireless steering wheel switch panel. Unlike pre-made panels, this kit empowers users to design their own layout, accommodating up to 8 button inputs, 4 eight-position rotary switches, and 2 paddle shift inputs, which are not included. The kit's components are built to withstand demanding environments, featuring an AECQ GRADE 3 temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) for both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter boasts a long battery life, estimated at 260 days at rest or 150,000 switches with its included CR1620 battery, and can be extended with an external battery pod. Its wireless communication operates on Radio Frequency within the 2360 MHz to 2500 MHz range, with a line-of-sight range of up to 100 meters at its highest power setting. The RF receiver operates on 6-22 V and is built with immunity to transients according to ISO 7637. It supports CAN 2.0 A/B communication at various speeds (125-1000 kbps) and can manage up to 8 wireless steering wheel kits. The transmitter has dimensions of 36 x 34 x 12 mm and weighs 10g, while the receiver measures 68 x 50 x 20 mm and weighs 50g. Included in the box are the transmitter PCB, transmitter battery, transmitter antenna, the RF receiver, and its mating connector with terminals. While the kit provides the core wireless functionality and input capabilities, the actual buttons, rotary switches, and paddle shifters are sold separately, allowing users to select components that match their specific needs and aesthetic preferences.
