The AEM 21-686C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and filtration efficiency for 2006-2011 Honda Civic 1.8L models. This system aims to reduce intake air temperature, contributing to an estimated horsepower gain of 4 HP at 3800 RPM. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum and finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat for a sleek appearance and longevity. The non-woven synthetic air filter is strategically placed above the driver's side wheel well to lower air intake temperatures. Installation is straightforward, as the kit includes all necessary mounting hardware and requires no additional filter oil.
