The J's Racing Aero Bonnet Type-V FRP is a lightweight hood designed for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8. It features an FRP construction, weighing 7.8kg compared to the OEM 9.7kg. The bonnet comes with a black gel coat finish and is compatible with the OEM washer nozzle and bonnet/hood rod.

The J's Racing Aero Bonnet Type-V FRP is a performance-oriented upgrade for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 (K20C engine, 09/2017-06/2021). This Type-V version is constructed from FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) for both the outer and inner layers, resulting in a significant weight reduction from the OEM hood's 9.7kg down to 7.8kg. It is finished in a black gel coat. It is compatible with the OEM washer nozzle and the OEM bonnet/hood rod. Please note that the Aluminum Duct for the center is not included and the Inner Rain Protector (Part Number: IRP-K8) is sold separately. Compatibility is specifically for JDM models of the Honda Civic Type-R FK8. RHDJapan advises buyers to conduct their own research to confirm fitment, as they do not guarantee fitment and after-sale support does not include installation assistance. This bonnet is not compatible with FK7 and FC1 models.
