Show original supplier description
The StopTech 83.100.4300.R4 Trophy Sport Big Brake Kit is a comprehensive upgrade package engineered to significantly surpass the performance of your vehicle's original braking system. This kit addresses common issues like brake fade during demanding driving conditions by incorporating larger-diameter rotors. These rotors offer superior heat dissipation, ensuring consistent stopping power even under heavy use. The calipers are fully forged for enhanced stiffness and feature patented, removable bridges. This design contributes to a faster braking response and minimizes pad taper, leading to more even pad wear. Included are DOT-compliant stainless steel brake lines, which reduce compliance compared to rubber lines, resulting in a quicker, firmer, and more consistent pedal feel. The kit also comes with performance brake pads offering a more aggressive bite than stock pads and patented Balanced Brake Upgrades® for optimized braking performance. The caliper bores and pistons are specifically selected and tested for optimal balance. This kit is backed by a 90-day or 3,000-mile warranty. The "Trophy Sport" variant specifically includes slotted and cross-drilled rotors for enhanced cooling and stopping capabilities.
