The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight, unparalleled strength, and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, and an opposed piston design that improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. Standard SC5 Ceramic pads are included, optimized for street use and occasional track days, offering reduced brake dust (by 50% or more), less noise, and minimal rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Customization options are available for caliper colors, including standard options like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium finishes like Silver, Gold, Titanium, and various anodized colors. Rotor options include both Cross Drilled and Slotted designs; Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while Slotted rotors are recommended for track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Fitment is specifically for the Chrysler Crossfire models from 2004-2007.
