The caliper is a standout component, crafted from aircraft-quality billet into an extreme lightweight, one-piece forged design. It weighs just over 5 lbs and features differential bore configuration, machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit incorporates a 2-piece disc assembly, which effectively lowers both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications experiencing extreme heat, a floating disc option is available to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique rotor slot design not only minimizes braking noise but also efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The choice between cross-drilled (cooler, recommended for daily drivers) and slotted (recommended for track use) rotors is available depending on your driving needs.
