The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping performance. The kit features an extremely lightweight, one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper design utilizes a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons for corrosion resistance, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Key components include a two-piece disc assembly to reduce rotational and unsprung weight, with a floating disc option available to mitigate thermal stress and warping. The unique rotor slot design helps expel gas and pad debris while reducing noise. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running characteristics, and slotted rotors, ideal for track use. The kit also features stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, leading to faster pedal response. Designed for a bolt-on installation with minimal tools required, this big brake kit is compatible with the Honda Civic Si EP3 models from 2004-2005, featuring a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
