The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This system integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface under braking. The caliper is a one-piece design, CNC machined from aircraft quality billet, and weighs just over 5 lbs. It features machined protection grooves for the bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping. The unique slot design on the rotor reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-oriented use.
