AERO6-DM Big Brake Kit

The kit features an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft quality billet, weighing just over 5 lbs. This caliper design includes protection grooves for the bridge tubes and utilizes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, while stainless-steel brake lines ensure consistent performance by preventing expansion under pressure. Ksport employs a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more rapidly than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles used more frequently on the track.
