This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the features of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors to enhance caliper self-centering. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant construction. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to provide superior heat resistance and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. Key features include a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper design for uniform thickness and strength, and CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that facilitate a direct bolt-on installation to your OEM caliper bracket locations. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift as needed, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and optimizing performance through more even brake application. Standard with the Supercomp kit are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear.
