AERO6-DM Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated bolt-on upgrade combines advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure optimal performance under sustained braking. Key components include lightweight, forged one-piece calipers crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring differential bore configurations. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to improve pedal feel and response by preventing expansion under pressure. The kit incorporates a 2-piece disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The 13-inch slotted rotors are designed for performance applications, offering increased "bite" and continuously cleaning the pad surface. For those seeking enhanced thermal management, a floating rotor option is available for 13-inch and 14-inch systems to prevent warping under extreme heat. The kit also comes with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct fit to OEM mounting locations. Included are Ksport SC5 street pads, which are ceramic and suitable for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. An optional RC1 race pad (carbon metallic) is available for extreme track conditions, though not recommended for street use due to its high optimal operating temperature. It is important to note that the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
