Each caliper weighs just over 5 lbs and includes integrated protection grooves. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design, a key advantage over OEM systems, dramatically improves pad wear and overall caliper rigidity. Stainless-steel brake lines are incorporated to eliminate expansion under hydraulic pressure, ensuring consistent braking force. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly for its big brake kits, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to better vehicle dynamics. Many applications offer a floating disc option. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, or slotted rotors, which are better suited for vehicles with more frequent track use.
