The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides superior stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface during braking. The kit's extreme lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to enhanced performance and durability. The opposed piston caliper design offers substantial improvements in pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Stainless steel brake lines are utilized to eliminate line expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel. Ksport employs a 2-piece disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications experiencing extreme heat, a floating disc option is available to mitigate thermal stresses and prevent warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors not only minimizes braking noise but also efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to guarantee optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
