This kit builds upon the features of the Procomp line, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering and reduced brake drag. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat dissipation and maintain optimal performance under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design enhances performance by allowing slight adjustments for better self-centering within the caliper, leading to more even pad application and reduced drag. Customers can choose between slotted rotors for track-oriented performance or cross-drilled rotors, which offer cooler operation ideal for daily driving. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust (by 50% or more), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines.
