This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit, featuring larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are constructed from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight design, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. They incorporate aluminum pistons for enhanced heat tolerance and reliable operation. The kit utilizes a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to shift for better caliper centering and improved performance. Ksport also offers custom caliper color options, from standard painted finishes to premium high-polish and custom anodized colors, providing extensive personalization. Included are SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street conditions with occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more), noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that see more track use.
