This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the proven design of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced caliper self-centering. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight, exceptionally strong, and corrosion-free component. To facilitate a direct fit, the kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that align with your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger caliper size. The Supercomp kit features standard floating two-piece rotors. This design allows the outer rotor section to adjust slightly, promoting better self-centering within the caliper. This feature minimizes brake drag and maximizes braking performance through more consistent pad application. The included SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic) are optimized for street driving and occasional track use, offering significantly reduced brake dust (50% less than race pads), lower noise, and less rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Customization options are extensive, with calipers available in standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, and premium finishes including Silver, Gold, Titanium, and various Glassy/Hard Anodized colors. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by preventing line expansion under pressure.
