The Aeromotive 18392 is a high-performance 15-gallon racing fuel cell featuring an integrated Brushless 5.0 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) Spur Gear In-Tank Fuel Pump Module. This advanced system includes a true variable speed controller, providing precise control over fuel delivery and reducing current draw at higher EFI pressures. The fuel cell is equipped with an aircraft filler cap, an ORB-10 outlet, a baffled AN-08 return, and a roll-over protected AN-08 vent. This design is commonly utilized in vehicles such as the Ford Cobra Jet, Chevy COPO Camaro, and various MOPAR Drag Pack cars. The baffled design ensures consistent fuel supply to the pump inlet, and a fluted pickup with an integrated 100-micron prefilter is included. The brushless technology extends service life, especially with methanol and ethanol fuels. It operates with a 90 PSI continuous operating pressure and up to 150 PSI peak pressure (base plus boost). It requires a straight 12-VDC to 16-VDC power supply and is not compatible with pulse modulated systems or fuel pump speed controllers.
