Aeromotive Variable Speed Controlled Fuel Cell - 20 Gal - Brushless A1000

The Aeromotive 20-Gallon Brushless A1000 Fuel Cell is a high-performance racing fuel cell equipped with a Stealth A1000 Brushless Pump and a True Variable Speed Controller. It features an aircraft filler cap, an ORB-10 outlet, an AN-08 baffled return, and a roll-over protected AN-08 vent. This system is designed for high-horsepower street and racing applications, and has been used in vehicles like the Ford Cobra Jet, Chevy COPO Camaro, and MOPAR Drag Pack cars.

The baffled design and fluted pickup with an integrated 100-micron prefilter ensure consistent fuel delivery even under extreme conditions. The True Variable Speed Controller allows for built-in pump speed control via a 0-5V analog DC input, which effectively reduces fuel flow during low engine demand. This feature minimizes current draw, decreases fuel temperature, and extends the pump's lifespan.

This fuel cell supports fuel injected gasoline engines up to 1300 FWHP (naturally aspirated) or 1000 FWHP (forced air), and carbureted gasoline engines up to 1500 FWHP (naturally aspirated) or 1200 FWHP (forced air). For E85 fuel, it supports fuel injected engines up to 910 FWHP (naturally aspirated) or 700 FWHP (forced air), and carbureted engines up to 1050 FWHP (naturally aspirated) or 840 FWHP (forced air).

It requires a straight 12-VDC to 16-VDC power supply and is not compatible with 16V charging systems without a regulator, nor with pulse modulated systems or fuel pump speed controllers. This product is intended for closed course competition or pre-emissions controlled vehicles only and is not legal for sale or use on emission-controlled vehicles, except as a direct OEM replacement.
