Bladerunner Intercoolers represent the next generation of intercoolers. The Bladerunner intercoolers utilize a 3 in. bar and plate design that out performs OE style tube and fin core designs. The end tanks are constructed out of 3/16 in. TIG welded aluminum plate tanks that incorporate three multi-directional vanes that efficiently direct air flow through the entire core for maximum cooling. The Bladerunner intercooler also comes with 4 1/8 in. pre-tapped ports for easy gauge installation as well as other auxiliary input options. Tested at 200psi which is perfect for the high boost applications. In recent testing the Bladerunner intercooler produced a 200 deg. temperature drop and a 100 deg. EGT drop as well as increasing air flow by 30 percent. Dont waste your time and money on modified factory intercooler. The aFe BladeRunner Intercooler Pipe Kit (46-20144-B) is designed for the hot and cold sides of the intercooler. It outflows stock intercooler tubes by up to 32%, resulting in gains of up to 8 HP and 21 Tq. The tubes are constructed from 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum and finished with a wrinkle-black powder coating for heat and corrosion resistance. The kit includes high-quality stainless steel spring-loaded T-bolt clamps and heavy-duty 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone couplings for durability and heat resistance. It also incorporates two billet aluminum, factory-style quick-connect adapters for a secure, leak-free, bolt-on installation with the OEM intercooler. Unique laser-cut aFe Power logo plates are welded onto the tubes. This product is not legal for sale or use in California or other states adopting CARB emission standards.
