The aFe Stage 2 cold air intake system is designed to improve performance by increasing airflow. It features a highly engineered heat-shielded air box and a one-piece intake tube. The system utilizes a PRO 5R performance air filter, constructed with 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and 100% polyurethane for durability and reusability. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Installation is designed to be hassle-free, utilizing factory mounting points. The system also includes a high-temp silicone coupling with a 4-ply reinforced configuration for elevated engine compartment temperatures and a one-piece powder-coated heat-shield to maintain cool and dense air intake charge. This intake is 50-state legal with CARB E.O. Number D-550-4.
