Overview

The aFe Stage 2 Magnum Force cold air intake kit for BMW E60 550i and E63/E64 650ci replaces the stock airbox with a heat shield and a tuned intake duct, featuring a Pro Dry S synthetic (oil-free) cone filter. This custom-designed filter maximizes surface area and airflow, providing dyno-proven gains of 12 hp and 11 ft-lbs of torque, and increasing airflow by 45%. The synthetic filter material flows up to 66% more air than stock, offering 99.2% filtration efficiency with easy, oil-free maintenance. This direct bolt-on system is CARB exempt (EO# D-550-38), requires no modification or tuning, and enhances engine sound while improving throttle response. Its open-element design visually showcases the filter, sealing against the hood to keep out hot air.

Easy to install one piece 16-gauge powder-coated heat shield requires no cutting or drilling. Stylish powder-coated steel or brushed aluminum cover blocks heat and directs cold air to the filter while quieting intake noise. The precision designed molded plastic intake tube maximizes airflow volume and speed for optimum power gains. 360 degree flow, washable and reusable, limited lifetime filters are high flow and high performance.
